UK Sires Direct Purchase highest GTMI Fleckvieh Bull to leave Austria

Wednesday 1st February saw the first sale of Pedigree Fleckvieh at Borderway mart in Carlisle. This sale was a fantastic showing of quality with all being sold within the top 1% of the breed.

The number one bull on show a son of Wiscona out of an incredible 17,000kg producing Reumut daughter with 4.99% fat and 3.52% protein. This bulls genomic proof shows that he is the highest Fleckvieh bull to leave Austria with +1153kg on milk and positive solids, He was purchased by UK Sires Direct and semen from him will be available in the near future.

5 other bulls were available at the market all at AI quality selling for more than £3,000 each including one son of Genostar Wegweiser from a dam with outstanding udders with production over 9,000kg with 5.63% bf and 4.01% p
